Finally finished this piece. Piano and Guitar were recorded live on a keyboard into midi (not at the same time, obviously), then cleaned up (voices changed). Drums and bass are added in FL Studio.

Basically, it's a Cm chord followed by a Dbmaj7 in the main section. But on top, I play in the Ebd7 scale, sometimes going to the C blues scale, which seems to fit for some reason. The chorus is as follows...

Bbm7 - Ebd7 - Bbm7 - Ebd7 - Bbm7 - Bbm7+A - DbM - Gm5bd7

you need to turn up the bass lots. you can't hear at all!, very nice piece though, good improvising. The drums are very repetitive, needs a real player on a kit, to liven it up. I don't like the fact that you used a midi guitar. The whole piecewould sound better if you used real instruments. Apart form that, good work

liked it!
prety jazz! liek the melodic progrsion and the sound of the piano. the guitar sounds smts as if it is a MIDI guitar, sound u could better change the sound, but overall, liked it!

Thanks to all. Slayer plug-ins for some reason don't allow bending, so I had to use a sytrus which I modded with some fast dist/parametric eq. Sorry about that.

Not nearly enough bass. Turn it UP man! Other than that nice work on this one. I like how you work the piano.

Great improv, I'd turn down the cymbals a touch in the mix, IMO.

If you ever want to re-record this song (or one like it), try to keep it piano, or, instead of midi guitar, try a deeper Hammond organ-style effect.

This was a great song though, I love the keyboards!!!
