This song is not in a battle

Let the good times roll...

Created for the Stormrider project, during the heyday of my "Rock Star" carreer. The live version had a very fast solo in it, but I couldn't find a copy audible enough to post here.

This is all in the name of good fun.

what were the drums done with?
the song sounded very well put together. the drums issues you are probably aware of, but otherwise quite nice, and dont worry, it didn't detract too much from the song

drums issues? if you are referring to the flange effect applied to them, that's deliberate. I did that to make it sound less dry. This song is part of the Stormrider project which I created some years ago, I used the same drum sounds throughout the "entire album" (11 songs) and putting a little effect to them made them sound more lively. it's part of my style anywho. maybe I fooled you into believing this was rock, but it's actually electro, with guitars and bass in them. and the only electronic instrument being my trusty friend Dr No, an Alesis SR16 drum machine. very electronically programmed, hence the ticketytick hihats and tambourine.

we did this live a couple of times with one of my former bands, with a live drummer that was, extra fast, extra punk. too bad what's left of those recordings are better used as toilet paper

actually, i did misconceive this to be rock- my bad
anyway, after reading your response, i listened to it again, but this time it sounded better, even though it was the same song.

funny how that works

(also, i cranked it up, and could hear the drums better

original
I'd certainly find it hard to categorise this music! Amusing, kind of Kraftwerk vocals with a fast Ministyr rhythm. Interesting mix!

Pretty cool...
The main vocals could be a bit louder to be more dominant...
and I love the drums
keep it up

thanks y'all, it nice to hear someone appreciates it. I was afraid it was too sexist, because, maybe it is. Quite frankly though, me not care. It is a fun song, I wouldn't sing it at a job interview -

so ppl, still one day left... for the battle... and 9 votes, what is that... not merely enough to be mentioned, although the current average isn't... really...
