This song is not in a battle

I know there is a few timing mistakes, and the falsettoes are fairly weak, but i'm really open to opinion as far as ideas instrumentally for where I can take this song next.

Ooh I like this, you have a nice guitar tone and some good playing there.

The vocals are lovely, with a folky feel. You have a fantastic natural edge and vibrato to your voice with good dynamic control. I cant believe you thought those falsettos were weak, perhaps need a bit more power but you hit those notes damned well.

Only criticisms would be that the recording (while clear) is very simple, and could do with some light compression on the vocals and guitar. It is also very noisy.

The more I listen to this track the more I love it. It would be nice to have some more diverse instrumentation in there. I'm thinking strings mainly, maybe some classical guitar lead lines. Some interesting vocal harmonies for the chorus would rock, too. I would really love to get my hands on this from a production perspective! I look forward to hearing more...

Seriously this is one of my favourite songs here, very heartfelt. Lyrics are great, would be nice if you could post them in their entirety.

You have such a great voice. I think adding vocal harmonies would be great.

The distribution of talent on bandamp, I have decided, is statistically impossible. We have some fucking serious talent on here, and you're part of that impossible statistic. Congrats on a great song, we all hope you stick with us at bandamp. I'm sure you'll be a great part of our community
