You Were My Love
*
Score: 67.0%
Rank: 11th
Battle: 2006-10

It's been a long time,
since we had our last goodbye
It feels like forever
You're gone, far-far away
Girl, I've got something to say

Reff :
That you, used to be my love
Used to be the one that,
I'm dreaming of
You, fill my heart with your smile
Fill my heart with
everything that you do
Yes, you were my love

Now, everything has changed
I have found, someone new
Though she, fulfills my heart
Girl, I still believe

back to reff:

Thank you for the times we've had together
I have no regrets, I'll always remember
Thank you for the love,
in good times and bad times
Girl, I won't forget

back to reff:

my love...my love...my love...
yes, you were my love...

woah!  is it supposed to but pitch-bent?

change the sampling rate up to 44100Hz it's at 32000Hz right now

i downloaded the song and played it like normal though   i like your voice movements when you sing.  it's good stuff   very easy to listen to.

hehe, i just noticed.. 3 of your songs have the word "love" in the title :P  that's alright.

you write what you know, yah?

Had to do what TonightLastSong suggested - downloaded this and played it without the chipmunk voice!

When it's played at the right speed your voice is very nice, a little off key in a few places, but still nice.  Also, pretty nice flowing guitar, but it sounds a little out of tune.
The recording quality of this isn't great (and uploading a 32KHz song instead of 44.1KHz one obviously doesn't help!), so perhaps that needs a little work.

Other than that, I like the song itself - perhaps another guitar worked in there with a bit of subtle lead work may fit in well, but I still like it.

Very pretty song.....  please DOWNLOAD this song to listen to it...  It is very nice played at the right speed......    My wife even likes it, and she is picky....  ;-P   That is a compliment...

She said you should go commercial... this song is really first rate...  I gree your vocals go a bit flat a couple places, but that can be fixed, with some training and patience, you can always studio fix it as well.... but fantastic job.. the lyrics are great...  wonderful song..
     thank you
