Lyrics
Verse 1:
Hiding in the shadows
Is easier than hiding in the light
I'm finding it harder and harder
To win this wretched fight

Pre-Chorus 1:
I know you're with me
I know you're with me
That's good enough for now, I guess
But I need to feel you
I need to feel you
Before I finally give in again

Chorus:
Show me your face
Touch me with your grace
Let me hear your voice and say
That you are savior
So pardon my behavior
I truly believe today
That you are Lord

Verse 2:
Running from Your Love
Is easier than saying I was wrong
Help me stay in your presence
'Til all the hurt is gone

[Pre-chorus 1]

[Chorus]

Pre-chorus 2:
I know you're with me
I know you're with me
That's not good enough today
Because I need to feel you
I need to feel you
Please hear me when I pray

[Chorus] (x2)

love the vioce, love the chords. Shame about the quality of recording but that's neither here or there really. Great song.

Nice song, reminds me of Staind, a good quality version wouldn't go a miss

I'm working towards recording this with my band. It should be happening soon... when it does, I'll get the updated version on here for anyone who might want it.

Thanks for the kind words.

I agree with decline, Staind was the first thing i thought of.

Very simple but effective chord structure. I like the melody you do with your voice.

Too bad the voice and guitar are so distorted because I think it's a great song.
I like how you resolve the chorus ending in that D, very nice.
The voice is better than the accompaniment, means the strumming gets a bit dull.

great song!
i love this song. good lyrics, just a little touch up. for example in pre-chorus 1 take out "I guess" right after "That's good enough for now". But still very good. When you record it for real, record it clean because it would sound best like that. also drums wouldn't be necessary  but i feel that they would add some power to the song. not too much but just enough to bring out all this song's potential. Freakin awesome song and cant wait to hear the real one.

Very, very nice song; as everyone has said, I'd like to hear a better quality recording of this.  Also, I like your lyrics, it's made me more confident about uploading a song with a Christian message.

Good song. The Staind thing is correct. But shorter and to the point is where they
make the big bucks! Keep'er up!

Christian rock... mmmm... oh boy... well, I guess if you're gonna be a rock star and get a lot of chicks, you might as well be cool with Jesus...
