It's not bad writing, I agree...

If I was a producer and I was listening to this as a demo, though, I don't know that I'd be blown away:
your guitar player is a wanker. maybe get him listening to a little less Poison and a little more Hendrix or John Scofield or something...
as well, the vocals are pretty good, but a little pitchy...t'd be worth it to really work on nailing them in the studio.

all in all, the song's good for what it is, but it's not super-original; it doesn't make me sit on the edge of my seat waiting for the next note or anything.

but then again, maybe I'm Mr Ego, in which case you've just posted a song about how you don't care what I just said...

woah woah woah, time out

no way buddy.

this is a style all it's own and it does not need any more influence from Hendrix or scofield.  for some reason, everybody says stuff can use a little influence from hendrix.  that's silly, because then everything would sound like hendrix rip-offs.

people need to make ORIGINAL music, and not feed off of all the bandwagon sounds.

this style is perfect as is.  (mind you, i said "style")  everybody has a little tweaking they can do, but "your guitar player is a wanker"??

eh?  i think that you must not get out much if you think that this style is a portrayal of "wankers", and that it has no influence from old legends.

I love ya. Always have! amazing song, was expecting something a bit more upbeat after the intro, turned too easy listening for my tastes, nice anyway. The first ten seconds had me hooked though.
