| Bookmarks/Links - FireFox |
Hi
I've been playing with some HTML, and came up with some thing I believe to be quite handy, if you have a use for it!
If you use the Bookmark option in FireFox or if you are in the habit of Dragging and Dropping the FF
tabs on to your Desktop as shortcuts, you probably have LOADS of shortcuts/bookmarks.
I regularly 'process' mine: taking them from my desk top and placing them all in my Favorites folder,
which I can then Import into FF using the Manage Bookmarks options tab/Import.
FireFox has a wonderful option to 'Export' bookmarks/shortcuts from its Bookmarks section into a HTML
page, where ALL the shortcuts in a folder are written as lists of links on a Web Page.
And this is where my HTML comes in, check out MY LINKS AND BOOKMARKS PAGE to see what I mean, DO try out the 'Find Text in Page' box, that's the fun bit.
I liked it so much I wanted to share it here, and I also made a zip file with instructions and necessary files to make it work, so If you understand it you can download the zip from the Bookmarks page its self.
I'm working on some music related pages, some times!
If you suss it out tell me what you think, please.
If you cant suss it out and want to, let me know!
