I read this the night you published it, I thought the same thing then as now.....Minds you've hit the nail on the head, this is the most asked question of all, certainly around here, and even if it isn't directly asked it usually is what they want to know about. Well seen and well done.

I wish I had known this back when I was an FL user.
I would Edit Events and end up either recording the knob movements or editing them by hand (adding pink bars) into the pattern window that it opens, the problem I always had like this was that the events were always 'in an event channel' but were not displayed.
Is this because I didn't make a selection first like you do here for the Events to be added to or are they just two different ways of adding automation to a song?
