100 in the shade

This song is not in a battle

Great to see the Amp up and running again. This piece  Inspiration recall as a kid now 50 years ago Perched high on a cliff over Cylinder Beach Stradbroke Island Queensland huge swells from the Pacific rolling in and hearing this music rattle out of car radio in our ute packed with camping and fishing gear ;the Good Bad and the Ugly ;.Big sky big ocean and big Ennio Morricone. fan here  music that just says you are alive today so live it to the best. It was hot 100 in the shade .

Yeah, fabulous atmosphere.  The wind and whistles are great for getting it feeling wide open.

Landscapes and settings and stuff are some of the most potent inspiration for me.  I'm glad you wrote up the description of the scene and the car radio.  I love getting to see the music tied to its emotional backbone.  It really takes the piece from "just an idea I had" to "this idea found ME and here's a rendering of it so you can feel it too."

100 in the shade
Hi Yokoinc/Greg

Wow this is hot/loud in my speakers!
Great feel ...
OK Ive got to say it ..... DYNAMICS!

The Quiet bits feel as loud as the Loud ones
Is this a compression thing?
The moods certainly change...and the instrumentation... but nothing gets quiet?

Isn't it good to have people back here and talking MUSIC

I am also an Ennio Morricone fan. Loved all the old "Hang 'em High" and "For a Few Dollars More" themes. This carries all the spirit of Ennio's music with some twists (all kinds of synth sounds, possibly a Koto in the somewhere?). Really nice!

Hahaha I love it! The atmosphere is great. Listened to a lot of Ennio's music as a kid, you did it justice alright!

Love it! Now that's some cinematographic piece of music. I can feel the 100 in the shade. Production wise, it's spot on... maybe, as the Fish said, a little less compression in the overall mix would help the dynamics of the mood.
