this is as far as I managed to go before my mandolin E string snapped. What a shame... I had no choice but to loop it. Tell me what you think and wheter you like the direction in which it was going, please. Thanks!

Whoah!!!  What a funky piece!  This is really kinda different to anything ive heard in a while. 

Direction of this piece - I think its great!  Get to the shop and sort yourself a new E-string!!!!!

Wow...this is amazing, JBP! But much too short.

That's really my only complaint. I love the funky electronic feel on the bass and drums. The mandolin is a really nice touch and the vocals are incredibly good too.

Go get a new string now! You should really develop this to a 3 or 4 minute song.

Hmmm, I could hear some ohhh's & ahhhh's in the instrumental breaks.
Bring up the vox in the mix a bit.
What you have is lovely so far.

Yes, I need a chorus. I think I might have lost the feel for it because of the broken string... don't know really. I'll change the stings today and see if I can continue with it. Thank for such positive reviews!

Totally agree with the guys, JBP. This one's going to be great where it goes. I'll rate it high, but you go and buy that string, add your chorus and then I'll vote the v2.0 high again!  I definetly want to listen to it once it's complete
