I Call it RockinRoll
*
A live take - my brother Phil on keys. I was showing this new(at the time) song to Phil and someone had the good sense to kick her into record! This was the result. What it lacks in production values is more than compensates for in feel. . . .  .comments welcome..........

I get up for work each day
Do my time, collect my pay
It's the price you pay

I come home late
Tiptoe in
I get the rounds of where you been
I take my medicine

Deep down I got something
Deep down in my very soul
I call it rockin roll

In my heart
Where you should be
All I got is this melody
Drivin' me

I am out
In some old bar
Singin' songs and playin' guitar

Deep down I got this feeling
Deep down in my very soul
I call it rockin roll

Nice keyboard choir and guitar...
I like the music more than the vocals.  Nice keyboard choir voices and guitar music.  Lyrics and vocals didn't grab me.  Some of the vocal melodies reminded me of Bruce Springsteen's music titled This Is My Home Town for some reason.  Nice job... Keep up the good music.

Pretty nice.  Keys had the desired effect.  I would've liked it to swell up, have another guitar come in, and rip off a nice, laid back solo with the vibrato just wider'n hell, some drums with a couple well placed crash accents...  The keys and vox had me feeling a bit down and a passionate guitar solo would've been the coup de gras.

Ehh.  Just what I'm seeing in my head.  My vision shouldn't be yours.    I certainly enjoyed it.  Keep up the good work.

Yes the feel is beautifull Cosmo, really like it, your vox are very soulful!!!

As it stands it would be a great soundrack, you could leave it as it is or build the song and introduce a rhythm of some sort with percussion and perhaps some female backing singers.

Great job, I love it live!!

Cheers, Hope you had a good Paddy's Day?

Collabs???
Anyone feel like getting in on this one?
It's a live take but I think it would benefit from percussion and some licks......

yeah, very nice atmosphere. for a live take its brilliant. it does have an american fell to it for some reason, maybe its the way you sing with such conviction. I ditto; add drums and a big cheesy guitar solo!
