A section of an Opera/Ballet based on Homer's Odyssey
This is a Tuba solo with two echo units

I must say, I don't think I've ever listened to a Tuba solo on purpose before, but this is nice.  The echo is a bit confusing as it is very true to sound and makes it sound like multiple instruments.  Maybe this is the goal.
I picture a dark stage and some kind of argument...

As Odysseus descends into Hades after crossing the River Styx he encounters numerous ghosts while searching for the blind Teresias to tell him how to get home.
There is a noise of the dead groaning and pleading for attention (including that of his dead mother) but only the soul that drinks the blood of the ram O kills can actually take form and communicate with him.
I thought of having a dixieland/mardi gras parade come out of this piece with floats of all the great myths and a brass band playing as they went by.
Maybe I'll add on to this.

cool concept, I like it . I always like stuff in reference to the Odyssey,  Sometimes the tuba sounds in this piece sound digital.  I don't know if it's the delay or if it's a digital sample of a tuba .  but in spots it sounds digital.
