Cute :P. (I find the lyrics cheesy
)
Right following you through bandamp :P and I can say no more of this right ear treatment (whehey!)
The guitar part, I like it! The picking is nice.
Some tuning issues with that solo or bends.
Vocals are great, I love the harmonies. Have you ever of the band LOW? (See http://www.chairkickers.com/)
The melody of some of your vocals reminds me of songs from their 'The Curtain Hits the Cast'
I'm pretty interested in how you record your guitar and vocals.
Your vocals seem to clip at points.
Still can't wait till you get drums and bass into your songs

.ok aar0j beat me to commenting to this one.
I like the sound of your voice, and great harmonies. I like the minimal and kinda lo-fi sound of this piece, that reverb is a good choice for creating the right atmosphere at this level of production. You definately have the right attitude towards making music. The "she knows" chorus gives me a strong grunge-era feel - and it's a good solo there. Sure not the master of strings, but again done from the right kind of basic "feel" therefore pleasing to the ears.
Heard it a couple of times now while I was doing some household chores, I really like this tune. As for lyrics .. well, the approach is good, as I get what you're saying, you will grow more into putting a text together over time.
cheers

Wow man, you suddenly got good on us all.
Get some better recording equipment and you're on your way to the top.

I love how you just have the guitar accompanying the voice, leaving drums (or drum samples out of it). Quite a nice piece for your niece (say that ten times fast!) lol. When you hit us with a song like this, nice vocal harmony, well sung, small issues, like in the solo, mean nothing.
Good job
