Grimey
*
Once upon a time in a little town of Springfield, there lived a man by the name of Frank Grimes.  Alas, he's no longer with us.  And there's only one person to blame...Homer Simpson!

I guess this is a type of very minimal blues, and yes there's the structure of a song in there. If you can build this into a full arrangement (a small investment in decent soundcard is required) this may actually go somewhere. I can clearly hear your potential as a vocalist to some alt. rock band. So keep working on it - and welcome to the Amp!

However I feel the need to ask you what
"We Came...
We Conquered...
WE DOUCHED THEM ALL!!!!"
means. I really, really hope it's not intentional, but it can clearly be associated with the mass execution methods of the nazi reich in the 40's of the 20th century. Not only is this the first association that comes to mind, but I really don't see how it could mean anything else without making some kind of reference to this "act of purification". I hope you know what I'm saying... In any way I'm going to ask you to revise your bio!

regards,
PX (mod)

Listening having read PX's comment,
Is Douched used in American as it is in European languages? I know Burgermeister is!
Ok! DOUCHE

It sounds sarcastically written as it is also played with a sarcastic touch!
I also like it a lot, I like it as it is! Of course a better and tighter recording is obviously 'better', but I like it for what it is!

Hey PX I really don't think he's on the same lines as you are implying.
I understand where your coming from, but I honestly believe it is the meaning posted above from CamDic!
'Douch' 'bag' 'machete', the blooded face the goth/crow like 'pity me I'm so murderous and sexy' stance!
More Narcissistic Masochism if you ask me!

Sorry  DouchebagMachete for littering your post, but a bit of a stir keeps it on top at least!

Welcome to the pleasure dome!

Dreams mean nothing my friend,
You've got to be what you've been all along in the end!

sure thang: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douchebag

"douching" does indeed take a different context in English than it does in other languages - I still think that bio is a bit iffy... Maybe I've seen too many WW 2 movies/documentaries and read too many books about it (and played Axis & Allies too often) but it's not the point whether he deliberately made the reference like that, it's about the associations one can have... Ugh... Never mind!

To Douche or NOT to Douche...
The actual definition of "douching" refers to "that which DoucheBag Machete does BEST"!  You put in what you get out of it; and if a nazi reference is what you see, then we say you simply need to douche a little harder to get to the gist that it is (which sometimes is a vinegar-type mixture; other times it reeks of ear-pleasing melodies).

Besides that...glad everyone that likes the song...ummmm...likes the song (or something like that).  Thanks for the cool words.  Anyone with any type of criticism, thanks as well...we listen to everything and take it into account.  We're very aware of the quality of the recording; but for now...we'd have it no other way.

Until whenever...don't forget to DOUCHE!!!

I don't recall the Nazi's being involved in mass executions with Summers Eve, but I never did well in history.

I enjoy this, very interesting. I like the vocals over the minimalist feel of the guitar.
