Lets Go
*
This is a  section of a song I'm writing in midi. I'm not real good yet at writing in midi. And I still have some changes to make and a couple parts to add to this section of the song. I wrote part of this with my cousins 9yr. old son Chance.  He helped me with ideas he thought were cool, and with some of the drum beats, writing them in a drum editor. Be kind cause this is really one of my first attempts at writing a song in a Midi sequencer. I'm not really looking for votes but I would like some ideas on how to make it better. As I'm new to midi writing any help would be appreciated.

What a really cool song, definitely a 'Lets Go' kind of thing.
Love the drum track, well programed!
And that riff is following me around!
I'd sound like a man in a wheel-chair telling you how to run a race if I could tell you how to improve it.

Thanks King
I'm still using my Casio wk1500 to generate the sounds, so their not as quality as they could be,. I'm still setting up in the new plac,e and hopefully when I get done I'll have some of the VST, and the new drum stuff in play..

 Thanks for your comment.

I was trying to pan some of the sounds but I did them all at once thru the keyboards so I don't think the casio can handle all if it.

Dude, that MIDI is great! My MIDIs sucks.
And I like that weird melody.
Very good job.

dude..
Like the Pink Panther is after me...   ;-)   This is really cool..   Has that sort of television spy movie feel to it...

Really like the bell at :50   the flute sound is cool...    and the change in frantic pace at the end there.. nice...

Very well done... esp for Midi..   You are a special person..  (SPecial Ed.)
ok.. that was wrong and mean, I'm sorry...  (Not really)

Seriously though... awesome song dude...   I feel like it needs to be a soundtrack though.. maybe you can get someone good with flash animation to make a spy cartoon clip for it..  that would be cool...

I'm working in other Genre's
I'll be posting songs that will be different from the band stuff. Dan and I are still jamming, but some of the stuff I'm doing is just me and the MIDI/audio studio. This is my first real try at working with MIDI/audio combined.
The old analog with a band is what I'm used to. I am learning though.

Your probably right; it's hard to type with hooves;  I keep hitting the shift key.
