Man I love some of the new bands. And yes I can differentiate between them if there real good. but like I said if you were to go to the Ice house in KC and here 4 bands  a night every night and most of them playing emo and bad versions of some kinda of punk. Listen  on some of the other websites and you'll see what I mean 20,000 band all in the same genre that a few bands have already made happen. not that I'm diss'n that style. As far as punk goes,and emo there are some up and coming bands that I really like.    New tomorrow  is a really good band out of California that stands out. I'm just jaded on trends. ten bands go platinum with  a style and  200,000 follow along doing the same style  oops I'm ranting on opinion sorry. I apologize  I think that's why I like this site so much because  there are alot of innovative writers here JBP, puppet, swordfish, iszil, educataedguess  for example there are alot more but these popped into my head.
