Just Lay Down

We finally bought a small 8 Track recorder with the intention of using it as a jotter to finish songs and try out ideas before we spend big bucks on a proper recording studio, this is a bit rough around the edges, so apart from the obvious production issues we would love some feed back, Thanks.

Exterminate

Industrial metal so cover your ears and enjoy the ride....
This song I wrote out of extreme anger and frustration towards the financial, political, religious situations...I'm tired of this and really wished it would stop.....

Just recorded a 'back to my roots' 70's punk rock song....

Need to get the vocals right next time, gotta work on that...and loads of other stuff as well.

I know what might sound better next time, but tell me anyway... :)

But remember its a 1970's punk rock song..... a lot of junk was recorded back then...

Hi there,

I made this a couple of weeks ago, it just came up in my head,
It's most suitable as film music I think. It begins with some horns,
but then it changes..

been debating with myself whether or not to upload this...honestly it sounds great on my good speakers, but muddy on my small laptop speakers...worked around with compression and eq stuff...I realized I had forgotten to mix in the overheads, room, and pzm mikes...I probably shouldn't have tried mixing this right now, I'm just getting over strep throat (overdid it last weekend) so I think maybe my ears might be a little off. let me know what ya'll think

I'm having nightmares with a new sound card I purchased, the one that came with the computer is currently better quality?? I've spent a couple of weeks trying to fathom out why it's not working the way it should, it's quite trebly and clips and pops like you wouldn't believr.
Anyway I've recorded this on my old soundcard, I sneezed big time whilst recording the guitar rhythm and miraculasly didn't make any mistakes with the rhythm at least at that moment in time.

It seems like a life time since I last uploaded a song on BandAmp. Basically had problem with my preamp, all OK now.

I'm also in the process of editing a video of this tune, all home produced stuff.
Sorry to all members for not reviewing songs etc of late, just been very busy learning; a) shooting video and editing, b) learning the Sax.

Anyway I hope you like this new composition.

Cheers

This is a tune I'm working on, I'm having some trouble with the bridge. If anyone has any ideas please comment. This isn't a "mix" or anything, it's still something I am composing, so please don't comment on the mix, I need help or input on the composition, specifically the bridge at 3:52. This has been bugging me, and I'm not really sure what I want to happen. Anything anyone has to say is welcomed and appreciated!

Another one of my songs, this one recorded in studio. It's only a rough mix (no real effects or EQ) let me know what you think. Started out as an acoustic song, then quickly became this big progressive monster.
Just a warning, it starts out kinda slow, and then builds up, so try to listen through as much as you can, this isn't meant to be a radio friendly single!!!
lol

USSR vs USA Soyez , cold war , the man from uncle & Vietnam& Protests on a huge scale.
Now
for a mere $700 Bigones America can buy her way out of the Global Economic meltdown .

Blinded

Blinded

You Know She Only Comes Out At Night, Oh What A Sight
I'll Let You Know
Never Knowing Whats On Your Mind, But I Hope In Time
She'll Let Me Know

With Every Second Of A Special Moment
Will It All Really Matter, As Much As Does To Me
Will She'd Be Here In The Morning After
Is My Heart Gonna Shatter, Like A Bad Dream

Chorus

I'm Blinded, From Something That Means
More In This World To Me
And It Feels Like, Theres Soemthing Missing
Lord Help Me See, Lord Help Me See

Really Glad That She Showed Tonight
For The Time Is Right To Take Her Home
Light The Candles Turn Out The Lights
Yeah For Tonight You Won't Be Alone

With Every Second Of A Special Moment
Will It All Really Matter, As Much As Does To Me
Cause Our Life Doesn't Last Forever
So Live It Happily Ever After, No Gaurentees

Chorus

I'm Blinded, From Something That Means
More In This World To Me
And It Feels Like, Theres Soemthing Missing
Lord Help Me See, Lord Help Me See
Lord Help Me See

Cause I'm Blinded
Lord I Feel That I'm Falling In Love

Today the angel
That was watching over me
Packed her bags and headed home

Everybody tells me
Hey life goes on
But I really just don't know

But now I know oh I know
How it feels to be this all alone
And my angel oh my angel
Oh my angel my angels headed home

They all tell me that’s just part of life
It don’t help me much
It still cuts like a knife

And sister
She’s gonna miss her
First time that she calls her on the phone

Blue like water, blue like heaven is all of the time
I'm alright.

This took about four months to finish, Ladies and Gentlemen.
From a simplistic idea to a sophisticated Swordfish-generated
lush version that you can now appreciate.

Let us know what you think as we are honestly very curious.

You know I’ve been thinking bout the way you look at me
Your eyes are a picture of deceit
I just can’t help thinking that if you held a gun
You’d shoot me dead and run back to the street

The only way to shoot me is between the eyes
Avoid my heart cause it couldn't stand the harm
See me down but let me hope you realise
For all I' ve been through could we change anywise?

Take the bullet out ........ and kiss it sweetly
Cos I’m completely…….. lost in my love for you
The world's shouts so loud…..can’t u stop the sound
Put the pistol down…….. don't bid love adieu

You know I was thinking bout the way you looked at me
Your eyes were a picture of deceit
You felt my heart beating while t'was pressed against your gun
You took the chance but have you really won?
